Well here I am ….and what else would a girl do nowadays but start her own blog. It’s a work in progress, of course, but I already owe major thanks to Bob Kraft at www.pissd.com for lots of feedback on this wonderful world of blogging.
My professional experience resides in law firm operations, efficiencies and profitability. Even before I focused on law firms, I’ve been very fortunate in simply knowing how to make money by working smartly. I now have the sheer pleasure of helping others along this road. It’s funny because I attend these legal marketing conferences and watch firm after firm trying to jump on the latest craze: single digit phone numbers, outsourcing, new angles for tv commercials, whatever, whatever. I find that very few people take the time to talk with law firm principals about their individual markets and what they want to accomplish. There is no one size fits all solution…..and that’s where I come in.
Of course I’m not all business and – as with many people – the moments of “genius” are hampered by complete periods of craziness! While most of it is good, I must tell you that I recently left an in-house law firm operations position which was paying 6 figures…in the midst of a recession. Some would say this was absolute madness, but I hold to the belief that if you stick to your principles and “lock-in” on your goals and dreams (thanks P.) then all will be great. It also helps that I have a husband who, when I explained the only reason I was staying at the in-house position was for the money and that I really felt like it was dragging me down as a person, he stood by me and said “never stay at a job just for the $$”.
So here I am, blogging away. I’ve got a lot of information I hope to share with readers and even if no one reads this thing at least it keeps me from eating too much chocolate cake and cookies. We’ll get to the business of running a law firm and making tons of money – even in a down market – soon enough. First I’m trying to get into the new VH1 Daisy of Love series.

Thank you so much! Yes I did. That’s the amazing thing about imparting knowledge….so often it does not occur in a formal presentation. I really appreciate what I’ve learned from you.
